The aim of this project is to design and apply an experimental model that
uses environmentally-friendly wine production techniques, in order to optimise
the resources used and to minimise the environmental impacts produced during
the life cycle of the wine.
The project methodology will be as follows:
• Encouraging agents and representatives of La Rioja's wine-producing
sector to participate in the project by forming working groups in which
they take their prior knowledge and draft it into documents to be handed
out to interested parties.
• Use of specific software for analysing the wine's life cycle.
• Trials using environmentally-friendly production techniques in vineyards.
• Training activities to encourage the use of the techniques and results
of the project among representatives of the sector.
• Practical demonstrations to familiarise representatives with the
proposed techniques.
• Design, construction and testing of an environmentally-friendly
prototype for collecting, storing and transporting grapes. |
