Overall objectives: •
To foster and promote environmentally-friendly production techniques for
the vine, which is such an important crop for La Rioja. These techniques
will use special vine-growing systems that make rational use of factors
in production. • To use environmentally-friendly production
techniques in viticulture and wine-making as a differentiating factor to
increase the competitiveness of our wine in an increasingly complex market.
Besides their quality, our wines will have the advantage of having been
produced in an environmentally-friendly way, two concepts that may at first
sight seem incongruous for wines that use a quality-based Denominación
de Origen or appellation model, as is our case. • Take advantage
of the synergy between diverse European, national and regional funds for
activities in this area, and activities and projects that have been carried
out previously. |
